I've had some positive experiences in the past with baked goods from Upper East Side bakery Yura on Madison, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect from their prepared sandwiches. But the rare roast beef with mustard mayonnaise and frizzled onions (large $6.95/mini $4.95) was very tasty. The sesame seed bun soaked up the yummy mustard mayo, and made a good base for a hefty portion of roast beef. The beef was cooked well, with a pink center and good chew. And any sandwich with fried onions is inevitably a success—these tasty crunchies added an extra layer of deliciousness that made this sandwich a great overall bite.
