Last week in Times Square, New York saw the opening of the fourth location of Shake Shack, Danny Meyer's cultishly loved burger joint. And for much of last week, the wait for a burger stretched close to an hour. Of course, any fan of the Shack knows that, on warm days at the original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park, wait times can run well over an hour.
I'm a huge fan of Shack burgers—but an hour is quite a commitment for a grab-and-go meal. What do you think? How long is too long for a great lunch?
