I've been spotting raspberry sweets everywhere this week. First the raspberry-almond croissant from yesterday, and today, golden topped Raspberry-Yogurt Cakes ($3.25) from Le Pain Quotidien. The cake is a special for the month of June—tender, almost creamy in texture, and speckled with bright bursts of fresh raspberries. Best enjoyed at their rather picturesque location in Central Park right above Sheep Meadow. Bring your sunglasses, score an outside seat, couple your cake with mint iced tea, and you're good to go.
