Snapshots from New York Brewfest 2010
'Tis the season for beer festivals: this weekend New Yorkers celebrated the 4th Annual New York Brewfest (except, of course, those who headed up to Boston for the American Craft Beer Fest.)
It was a gorgeous day on Governors Island, and though the lines were long, attendees (especially those who splurged for early-entry passes) had a blast sampling beer, meeting brewers, listening to music, lazing around in the grass, attending beer-related seminars, and then sampling more beer. (In the future, it might help to cap ticket sales at a thousand fewer attendees.) A few of the beers we tried were top-notch, and the setting was lovely, even if the crowds were overwhelming. Check our our slideshow above to see the highlights!
