Spot Dessert Bar is best know for its dessert tapas, Pichet Ong's creatives takes on sweets such as the Yuzu Eskimo . But for the times when you'd rather not sit for a full service dessert fest, get the housemade ice cream to go. There are flavors of Vietnamese Coffee, Green Tea, and more, and toppings that run from Jackfruit to Raspberry Foam. My current favorite combination is the Condensed Milk Ice Cream ($3) with a topping of Nata de Coco. Not the most colorful, but a great pairing, with the nata de coco providing crisp, refreshing bites, a perfect contrast to the butter-smooth ice cream. A ideal end to a spicy dinner at Grand Sichuan just a few doors down.
