In a decidedly upscale take on the pizza-and-wings combo that the chain places push, Motorino Brooklyn in Williamsburg has started offering its own version of the chicken side. Blanched first and then fire-roasted in the same oven that cooks the pizza, the wings are crisp, moist, and just salty enough. Served with thin slices of red onion, hot pepper flakes, and a squeeze of lemon, they're a worthy app. Two full wings, $8. Available now at the Brooklyn location; chef-owner Mathieu Palombino says the Manhattan branch will begin serving them soon, too.
