"Good choice!" The girl behind the counter nodded in approval when I ordered a spicy sausage laffa from Olympic Pita. Their slightly spicy merguez-style sausages are piled into a laffa— enormous, doughy flatbread, similar to a naan, the size of a small pizza—pulled right out of the clay oven. We'd recommend the hot red sauce, but ask the guy to go easy: half a spoonful spread all over this enormous bread still left our mouths burning. The enormous sandwich costs $11.95 and comes with a big self-serve salad box.
