The dessert special at Columbine changes on a daily basis, but the good stuff usually gets repeated once every two weeks. Keep your eye on their specials menu, and if you see Mad for Martha's Chocolate Cherry Cookie ($2.50) on any given day, it's worth a detour. This dark chocolate number is neither crisp or chewy, somewhere in a heavenly in-between state. So tender, very chocolaty, but not overly rich, and studded with tart and plump dried cherries.
