Sugar Rush: White Chocolate Brioche at Roasting Plant

The dough is from Tom Cat Bakery, but the pastry is baked on site at Roasting Plant in the West Village. Brioche ($3) rolled and swirled with white chocolate and cinnamon. White chocolate isn't really my thing, but it works ideally in this marriage, especially when the pastry comes warm; the chocolate is all gooey and melty, seeping into the brioche curves. Quite the treat with espresso on a rainy day.
