My friend Celia of Cravings introduced me to this Double Sesame Panna Cotta ($3). The panna cotta is made by Oro Bakery down in Soho and sold exclusively to Num Pang. Black sesame sprinkled across the surface, a thin tahini-based layer for extra sweetness, and white sesame infused in the panna cotta base itself. A triple, rather than double, dose of sesame. The panna cotta is more akin to pudding than your classic panna cotta, so don't be surprised when your spoon slips in deep, quite effortlessly. Smooth and surprisingly refreshing, it's a treat I save for warm days. The pudding is delivered on Mondays, so come early and come quick!
