Bake sales may no longer be welcome in New York public schools, but that doesn't mean there's nowhere you can bake for a good cause. On April 17, 2010, bloggers all over the country will be holding local bake sales as part of the First National Food Bloggers Bake Sale, with all proceeds going to Share Our Strength, an organization that combats childhood hunger in America.

In New York, Brooklyn Flea has donated a table at their Fort Greene location for any and all participants to sell from—so here's your chance to show off your favorite cookie recipe in public. Interested in getting involved? Email Jacquie of blog The JLH Life.
