It's not unheard of for New York shops to raise matzo prices before Passover, so in advance of the holiday, which begins on March 30, Village Voice blog Fork in the Road is keeping tabs on your local grocery stores—tracking matzo prices as your alert to leaven-free price-gouging. As of right now, Israeli imported matzo are the cheapest, but Robert Sietsema promises "a chart, including a shifting group of suppliers" as the holiday grows nearer.
