If you ever loved the McRib sandwich, the Momofuku BBQ Rib Sandwich ($12) at Ssam Bar will make you happy. Never ate a McRib? Never mind, this sandwich is still delicious. The smoky heritage pork from Newman Farm in Missouri is moist and falling-apart tender, and the red onion and green cabbage slaw adds a sweet tang. It's served on hoagie-style bread from Pain d'Avignon—soft enough to soak up meat juices, but crusty enough to shatter. It's a big sandwich; best to share it with a friend and order some fried brussels sprouts, too.
