They won't divulge where the pastries are sourced from at Doma in the West Village, but the selection is one worth returning for. "A local bakery," was the only response I received when I picked up this bran muffin ($2.50) early one morning. Bran muffins are among my favorite types of muffins and this one was plenty moist and studded with raisins, plump and sweet. And while I normally prefer crunchy tops, this one was sticky and tender. A solid muffin overall. If anyone knows where to find a killer bran muffin in this city, please do inform us!
