Author Andrew Friedman just launched a new blog, Toqueland, that's a little more chef-driven and industry-focused than others out there. He starts out with a great profile—Matt Greco, the chef driving Brooklyn's Char No. 4.
Things we learned: Greco was the bass player in a punk band called "Dynamite Boy"; that his mother was a Houston suburbanite, while his father was a "weekend cowpoke who participated in small-circuit rodeos"; and that he considered relocating to San Francisco and had a restaurant in mind called "Bay Area Burning."
