With crumbled pretzels and potato chips, the Chipn'etzel cookie reminded me a bit of Momofuku Milk Bar's compost cookie. Only smaller and less greasy —also crisper, though not as sweet. The cookies come plain, dusted in sugar. Or dipped in dark or white chocolate if you so desire.

We favored the dark chocolate dipped number most, with the chocolate adding just a touch of luxury to each crunchy salt-tinged bite. Its diminutive two-bite size ensures that you that you'll be eating, at the very least, three in a sitting.

Can be found at Zabar's and Garden of Eden
