At acclaimed NYC seafood restaurant Marea, chef Michael White crafts a crudo-and-pasta tasting menu, available at Marea's crudo bar.

"The pasta station gets slammed every night," White told me when asked what inspired him to create a crudo-and-pasta tasting progression. Those who have had White's masterful pasta will not be surprised by the popularity of that section of the menu. Le Collezione, pictured here, offers a flight of six crudo dishes, driven by market availability, followed by five pasta courses—plus a dessert from pastry chef Heather Bertinetti.

That looks like heaven. Crossing fingers on price.

The price is about $5 - $10 per bite (depending on the size of your bite.)
