PrintShacktoberfest Comes To The Shake Shack October 2nd

Mark your calendars: October 2nd is the first day of this year's Shacktoberfest at the Shake Shack, and Blondie and Brownie give us a first look at the menu. Expect Currywurst (Usinger's sausage with Shake Shack curry tomato sauce), Cheddar Bratwurst (Schaller & Weber brats, with beer mustard) and Usinger's Weisswurst (with braised red cabbage). Plus the German Chocolate concrete we loved last year, along with an apple streusel concrete. And $15 Shacktoberfest beer steins? We are so there.

As a bratwurst lover and Wisconsin transplant, my only question/comment is why, why, WHY! are they going the cheddar brat route? Cheese has no business being on or in a brat, despite what Johnsonville says or does.
