I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there's no one having more fun with desserts right now than Doug Quint at the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck.

Sure, there's the now-legendary choinkwich: a chocolate ice cream sandwich with plenty of oink (that'd be caramelized bacon), and Doug's usual dizzying list of toppings. But the real fun is in the specials. This week, it's been the Salty Pimp: vanilla ice cream topped with dulce de leche and sea salt, all dunked into the chocolate dip.

And much, much more.

What else? This week gave us the first Monday Sundae—a waffle cone lined with Nutella, twist ice cream, Dulce de Leche, and sea salt, that actually inspired a tribute song over on Snack Religiousand the not-quite-seasonal Thanksgiving Sundae (vanilla ice cream with pumpkin butter, graham cracker crumbs, and whipped cream).

We just can't wait to see what he pulls out for the Vendys.
