Ever since we tried the locally made popsicles from People's Pops at the New Amsterdam Market, we've been itching for more. This small-scale Brooklyn popsicle project has been selling all summer at Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene (Saturdays) and DUMBO (Sundays), with flavors that are starting to rival the Shake Shack's custards in seasonal creativity—this week's were "Sweet Blackberry & Cantaloupe," "Roasted Apricot & Lavender Holyfield," and "Crazy-Ass Sweet-Cream-Corn & Blackberry." Food blog Cherrypatter declared the apricot "super pulpy and refreshing."

Soft serve drizzled with olive oil, tomato-watermelon custard, sweet corn popsicles—this is turning out to be a summer of serious sweets.
