Le Fooding was born in Paris in 2000. The movement has a pretty simple name and motto: it's food plus feeling. (And turning nouns into gerund verbs is kind of fun, n'est-ce pas?) Two journalists started the organization, inspired by the fact that bourgeois cuisine is no longer France's daily bread. "Our favorite chefs are not celebrity chefs," they say. So instead, Le Fooding hosts gastronomic events for good causes with up-and-coming chefs in trendy locations.
For the first time, Le Fooding is traveling to New York to host Le Fooding D’Amour Paris New York, at P.S. 1 in Long Island City, Queens, on September 25 and 26. Tickets will be $30, or $60 for access to the Veuve Clicquot premium area with early admission and some free champagne. Before selling normal ol' tickets next month, Le Fooding wanted to give Serious Eats readers a special code for advance tickets.
Both nights will include awesome food from a mix of all-star chefs from New York (David Chang, Wylie Dufresne, and Daniel Boulud) and France (Yves Camdeborde, Christophe Pelé). Preview the menus for both nights after the jump.
