We're big fans of the New Amsterdam Market—Robert LaValva's crusade to bring an indoor, year-round market of food purveyors to New York—so we're thrilled to hear that they'll be holding monthly market meetings this fall, on the East River waterfront in lower Manhattan. We've seen everyone from Mario Batali to Bouchon Bakery to the Bent Spoon at New Amsterdam meetings before, so these events are sure to be good ones.
