Sugar Rush: Feed Your Soul Cookies
A bakery automatically gets my approval when they sell pumpkin desserts year-round. The Jersey City-based cookie cafe Feed Your Soul doesn't care if it's not November—the pumpkin pie flavor is just one of 25 fun ones they bake, and they'll even let you mix and match them for ice cream sandwiches. (They're all about the chocolate chip cookie on one end, graham on the other, vanilla ice cream in the middle.) A portion of every purchase goes to the customer's charity choice from a list of affiliations.
