Due to an overwhelming demand for this weekend's crawfish boil, Lizzie and Chris Bicknell of Crawfish NY have added a second date. Tickets are on sale for the new boil on Sunday, May 17 from 3 to 7 p.m., where there will be enough crawfish for each person to eat four to five pounds worth, along with corn on the cob, potatoes, onions, garlic, mushrooms, and sausage. And to drink, unlimited beer and New Orleans hurricanes.
There probably won't be a part three, so buy your tickets ($60) this time. The Bicknells might even let you swap this weekend's ticket for the new date (email Lizzie at crawfishny@yahoo.org). The money will benefit The Make it Right Foundation, an effort to rebuild New Orleans. And just in case, the raindate is scheduled for Saturday, May 23 from 4 to 8 p.m.
