New Wafles & Dinges Truck Will Return on Thursday
After months of mechanical failures of a 1968 food truck, the new Wafels & Dinges ride, complete with a custom-built old-school wafel oven, will celebrate on Thursday with a free sampling from noon to 1 p.m. One new item to look out for: La Dame Blanche (“white lady”), what they call the quintessential Belgian ice cream dessert. The new truck will be parked 45th Street near the NW corner 6th Avenue.
