To properly celebrate Earth Day, you should have a hippo-shaped cookie in your mouth (as you turn off lights and gushing faucets, naturally). The Treats Truck has animal-shaped treats (not the cracker variety, but sweet sugar cookies) through the end of April. The lions, hippos, and monkeys are $1.25 each, and the gators are lanky little creatures, and only $1. Plus, a portion of sales this month will go to the Bronx Zoo and the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Check treatstruck.com for updates on the truck's whereabouts. Today they will be at 20th Street and 6th Avenue until 6 p.m.
