How David Chang's 'Locals Only' Free Lunch Contest Works

20090413-davidchangcontest.jpg

David Chang's "Locals Only" contest sponsored by NBCNewYork.com started last week, and is big on keeping a hush-hush identity. But here's all you need to know: each day until April 22 there are four new questions about New York landmarks. You want to be one of the first five to answer them correctly that day. You can keep trying daily, starting at 11 a.m.

Today's quiz involved four images from different museums around the city—there was a scroll-down list of choices. Winners from today will be notified tomorrow, and so on for the rest of the contest. The lucky ones can bring a guest to this mystery free lunch on April 24. All we know is David Chang is preparing something somewhere, and a food cart is involved. Winners will find out the exact locale on April 24, and to make it extra spy missiony, be given a codeword.

Entering this contest sounds slightly harder than getting a resy at Ko.

The questions on Sat and Sun were id-ing the correct bridges in a set of 4 images.

So out of curiosity, what are the museums shown in the image above? I know #3 is the Natural History museum, but what about the other three?

1. brooklyn museum of arm, 2. jewish museum, 4, nyc transit museum.

i won yesterday!!!!!!!!!!

1. brooklyn museum of art*

whoops.

Ah, then I got 3 of 4 (I guessed the Brooklyn Children's Museum for #1).

Oh well!
