McSorley’s Is Still the Authentic Irish Pub You Want It To Be

When asked about authentic pubs in New York City, he said: "I’d say McSorley’s most resembles the Irish ideal, still much the same as it was in the days when Joseph Mitchell and A.J. Liebling drank there."
