In Videos: Midtown Lunch's Zach Brooks in 'The Great Food Revolution' Documentary

20090331-invideos-zach.jpg

Lord of Midtown Lunching Zach Brooks was featured in a Canadian documentary produced by the CBC called The Great Food Revolution. A portion of Part Four was dedicated to food-blogging and features Zach strolling down the street, doing his thang. The best is when he shares a heartfelt moment with Biryani Cart owner Meru, as they wax nostalgic about the first day Zach blogged about his cart's signature kati roll. "He looked at me and said, 'Thank you, you are a very good man,'" Zach remembers fondly. The video, after the jump. Biryani Cart: 46th Street and Sixth Avenue, New York NY 10036; map)

Bonus: Zach reports today that the Biryani Cart has an official website that welcomes you with the Bee Gees “Too Much Heaven."

Zach should be played by Taub from 'House' in Midtown Lunch: The Movie.

Having never really watched House, I googled "Taub" wondering with anticipation whether or not he would be a) Jewish looking, b) short or c) bald.

Jackpot! He's all three. What a lucky guy I am! (At least he's not morbidly obese. That's a plus.)
