Blondie and Brownie inform us that the Girl Scout Council stocks a "Cookie Cupboard" on 23rd Street that will open today to sell this year's line-up. "It sounded too good to be true, but it is true. It really is," they say (and those two would never lie to us).

Go to the seventh floor of 43 West 23rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues (map) today or next Friday, March 13, between 2 and 5 p.m.

Starting Tuesday, March 17, through May 8, the cupboard will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on the sixth floor at the following times:

Tuesdays: 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Thursdays: 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

No appointment is necessary—just show up and buy what you need. Cookies are $3.50 per box (they prefer cash). The money goes to the New York Girl Scout Council, not a specific troop. And as magical as "cookie cupboard" sounds, you actually just wait for them in a reception area. For more info, call them at 212-645-4000.

3 Comments:

I had some Dulce de Leche cookies and they were pretty good, didn't taste like Dulce de Luche to me. The Samoas are too sweet for me.
