Do you suffer from depression or anxiety because you've never smelled the now famed maple syrup smell? Feel like less of a New Yorker? Instead of buying a bag of fenugreek seeds, the source of the Frutarom factory aroma, toast some Maple French Toast-flavored Thomas English muffins. Spotted at the Met Foods in Boerum Hill, but probably at most markets with a decent bread supply. Still kinda sad it's not the real one. 197 Smith Street, Brooklyn NY 11201 (b/n Baltic and Warren Streets; map) 718-237-0317.
