Me & My Egg Roll is the best name I've ever heard for a Chinese take-out. Something about it just feels all warm and snuggly, even if the object of the warm snuggles is a deep fried, fat-soaked roll stuffed with meat and vegetables. Used to frequent this spot when I lived nearby. Crazy enough the food is GREAT! House Special Lo Mein and General Tso's. And the egg rolls of course. There's a sit down option that shadily gets you a ton more food served family style - same price.

When I first moved to NY, my buddy told me to get off the Carroll St stop of the F train and meet him at "Me and My Eggroll." I asked him to repeat the name over and over again since I couldn't believe someone would give a place that name.
It is still there, 17 years later.....

I know, I know. They have egg rolls in other parts of the country. But they're not always like New York egg rolls.

When I lived in the Brooklyn, Me and My Egg Roll was my local go-to place for take-up or delivery. The egg roll is fine. The sesame chicken is very good.
It's good to know that M&MER is still in business. :^)

Sadly I have to disagree. They DO make some of the best wonton soup in the neighborhood. but the rest of it as inconsistent and often downright bad. Very much a 'gloopy' corner chinese. we order from there now and then only because of the wonton soup and have yet to find other consistently good things to order. The double cooked pork was bad last time (though I used to like it) and even their lo mein left something to be desired.

This place is disgusting. The fud is horrible (it cannot be termed 'food'). Name is mildly amusing until you find yourself bent over the toilet regurgitating Lunch Special #8. Should really be named Me & Mylanta.
