Not quite so only in New York. The site lists 10 other cities weird enough to embrace the Snuggie bar crawl (1990 people registered in Chicago?!). Perhaps a future event at the Winter Olympics?

Those Snuggie commercials kill me. I love the part where the family is in the bleachers at a sporting event, and all stand up to do the wave with red Snuggies on. Hilarious.
