I didn't go to Insomnia Cookies near Washington Square Park with a cookie craving, but I got one as soon as I held their cookie in my hands. My M&Ms cookie came studded with chocolate chips in addition to M&Ms so that every other bite contained gooey chocolate with crunchy candy shell. For only $1, the cookie, although nothing that would blow your mind, was comfortingly warm, soft, and crispy around the edges, just the right size, and satiated my sweet tooth.
