Sugar Rush: Valentine's Day Doughnuts From Krispy Kreme

There's nothing too complicated about the heart-shaped Krispy Kreme doughnuts, available now until February 14. They taste like doughnut holes, but are slightly bigger, and have nothing inside (no creme or jelly, sadly). The anatomy: white icing (sugar), Valentine's day-colored sprinkles (sugar) and fried dough (some fat). It appeals to the same part of the soul that gets hyped for seasonal Funfetti mixes.

For $1.10, it's a heart-shaped 280 calories.

Available at Krispy Kreme nationwide. In New York City, the only Krispy Kreme location is in Penn Station: 2 Penn Plaza; New York NY 10121 (map)
