Edible Manhattan, Issue 3 Is Out

Just in time to help you think up new food-related resolutions, the latest issue of Edible Manhattan is out. In the January/February 2009 issue you can read about how the the brothers Zabar, straddling Central Park, anticipated America's gourmet revolution (the brothers suggest the supposed rift was a media fabrication).
Also, the Chinatown haunts of Chef King Phojanakong of Kuma Inn (the print edition has an annotated map), a Chelsea chocolatier that's redefining ethical sweets, and an oenophilic exposé of what lies beneath Chelsea Market.
And even though the Jets season has ended, Edible takes a look inside the fridge of starting linebacker, Calvin Pace, a soft-spoken Southern gentleman and football foodie who tries not to eat Indian too close to game days but calls the Peking duck at Philippe's "ridiculous."

Kuma is a must try. Don't miss the Chinese sausage. Also loved the edamame. BYO policy is great, only $5 corkage.
