- Famed Austrian bakery, Demel, has set up shop at The Plaza. Go early to get a taste of the signature Viennese apple strudel, Sacher torte and chocolate nougat cakes. [Salli Vate's NY Food Page]
- Sugar Sweet Sunshine's pumpkin trifle is "layers of pumpkin cake, eggnog pudding, and whipped cream" and is "absolutely one of the most delicious, comfort desserts" Blondie has ever had. [Blondie and Brownie]
- Despite the gruff service, Peter Luger's is "still the best place to get porterhouse in New York City." [Writing With my Mouth Full]
- Be sure to save room for dessert at Terrace 5. The lemon tart with almond cream and fresh fruit is "killer." [Off The Broiler]
- All you can eat tacos are $21 daily after 10 p.m. at Mercadito Cantina [Flickr]
