Park Slope's Snowflake Celebration Tonight, Free and Cheap Sustenance Involved

As a Park Sloper, I'm nervous about local businesses shuttering. It feels inevitable at this point. Earlier this year, the Tea Lounge on 7th Avenue poured its last Earl Grey, and yesterday, Lonelyville Coffee in Windsor Terrace got lonelier (aka said goodbye forever). This is why supporting Park Slope's Second Annual Snowflake Celebration tonight is huge.

More than 150 businesses will stay open until at least 10 p.m. and offer special promotions—many of which involve food and drinks. I'll be filling up my growler at Grab (10% off fills all day), then heading over to Bierkraft, where they'll award another 10% off beers after a previous neighborhood purchase. And, it'd be very hard not to monopolize the frozen lime margarita samples at La Taqueria.

Fellow neighbor Brownie of Blondie and Brownie lists all the food-related deals tonight.
