Kenny Shopsin Is Not Moving Uptown
We got confirmation from Kenny himself this morning that Shopsin's is not moving. But after this post on Talk yesterday, we were a little bewildered:
Friends were down at the Essex Street Market for the inaugural Sunday opening, and claim they saw a sign at Shopsin's saying it was moving to 96th and Lexington.
Is this true? Can this be right? Can this be good?
And who will fry up the bacon for Roni-Sue's Pig Candy if Shopsin's moves to a fourth location?
According to Kenny: "That guy was either trying to be a comedian or just stupid. We're not moving, because if we were, I'd have no idea where we were going."
A collective sigh of relief.
