Upon hearing the Wafels & Dinges truck was at 27th & Park, a short walk from the office, Raphael and I booked it crosstown to get our hands on the Smoked Pulled Pork BBQ Wafel ($8) (and a liege for me, as I've never had one before). The first question asked: "You guys from Midtown Lunch?"
We met the Pulled Pork man himself, Joe Mizrahi of Smokin' Joe's, who demonstrated how the wafel was intended to be eaten--folded and in-hand, with the coleslaw and koolickle (pickle & Kool-Aid) bursting out the sides. At 11 a.m., it wasn't quite breakfast material, but somehow we managed to consume a good three-quarters of the dish. This was after a strawberry-covered liege, mind you.
Check out the new menu items, the Mini Wafelini and the Choco Wafelini, after the jump.

They also add new items as we stuffed our faces. Take a look at the new Mini Wafelini ($2) and Choco Wafelini ($3):
When you get the Smoked Pulled Pork BBQ Wafel, eat it right away, before it gets cold and soggy, making sure to get as many of the ingredients in each bite. This ain't a wafel for the lighthearted.
