Morimoto's Picks for Best Ramen in the East Village
Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto rates the East Village's best ramen shops on Grub Street today, and his top choice is Momofuku Noodle Bar, followed by Ippudo, Minca, Setagaya, and Rai Rai Ken. We are huge Momofuku Noodle Bar fans, but even we admit that very few people will argue that its ramen is the best in the East Village. It kind of makes you wonder if the presence of Momofuku's chef-owner, David Chang, had any effect on Morimoto's decision. Check out Morimoto's ramen primer before you get your ramen fix.
