Sugar Rush: Fairway Cafe's Hot Fudge Sundae

After finishing off our cheeseburger at the Fairway Cafe, Ed and I shared a hot fudge sundae made of creamy Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream smothered in Hershey's thick, gooey hot chocolate fudge (Mitchell London's preferred brand for fudge) and topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. As much as I love gelato or eating Asian-inspired ice cream flavors, sometimes a simple hot fudge sundae is better than anything else. Now I know just where to go when the craving hits.

Best hot fudge sauce is still Brigham's up in Boston--happily, still available in supermarkets now that the shoppe empire has collapsed.
Some of my happiest childhood memories are of trips to Boston to visit relatives, featuring a hot fudge sundae at Brigham's made with peppermint stick ice cream
Sigh.

Does anyone know if Fairway Cafe is a good place to go by yourself? I don't like going to more restaurant-y places by myself, but more casual places I'm fine with.
Thanks!

@klg19: I will never know such joy! Sniff.
@JoshNY: It's really casual, a good place to go to by yourself. Here's a photo of the interior.
