Observer Top Ten Wine Bar List: Maybe They Were Too Drunk To Get It Right

As many serious eaters (and the good folks at Eater as well) have noticed I love top ten lists. But only if they bear some semblance to reality, or at the very least can be easily defended or justified. The Observer's top ten wine bar list doesn't pass the smell (or the nose) test. No credible top ten wine bar list could possibly exclude Terroir, Casellula, or Gottino. I am sure they left out other worthy spots, but right now I am so aghast about their list I can't think straight. What about it, serious eaters? What wine bars would you put on your top ten New York wine bar list?
