Weekend Excursion: Flushing Checklist or Astoria Souvlaki?

I live in Manhattan, so my weekend excursions almost always involve heading to Queens or Brooklyn for some good eating. If you live there already, I guess your "Weekend Excursion" is just called "lunch." (You are very lucky.) This weekend I'm torn between two choices: heading to Flushing's Chinatown armed with Joe DiStefano's Golden Shopping Mall post and the New York Times article from two weeks ago. Or, head to Astoria for some souvlaki from the cart recommended by Mia Dona/Kefi/Anthos Chef Michael Psilakis in Details Magazine. I think I might have to do both. (It's a tough life.)
