Dear SENY: 'Fine, I'll Move to New York'

Clicking in to the SE:NY inbox today, we've got this awesome email that makes us seriously happy. —Adam

Dear Serious Eats,
For the past 2 years, my boyfriend and I have had serious debates about where we will be moving when he starts school and I start my medical residency. We've looked at cities on both coasts, although I was leaning towards New York and he was leaning towards Los Angeles. A few months ago, he came home and said, "Okay, I want to move to New York."

I would just like to let you know that this decision came after a daily barrage of e-mails (from me) with links to Serious Eats New York and Slice entries. Now he's e-mails ME, asking me to bookmark entries to our "Places to Eat When We Move to New York" folder.

So, just wanted to say thanks, Serious Eats, both for keeping me thoroughly hungry and entertained daily and helping to manipulate my boyfriend's life decisions. You're the best!! :)
