We're nearing the mid-way point of Summer Restaurant Week 2008 and the reports keep pouring in. The Wandering Eater files her second RW meal of the week; a lunch at Eleven Madison Park that included sweetbread ravioli, big eye tuna, and colorado lamb sausage. Food in Mouth hits up The Bar Room at the Modern for dinner, and samples the Alsatian sausage, tomato and almond gazpacho, and duck confit. Finally Eating in Translation gets the oxtail terrine and skate at Lupa, and Metromix dishes on Artisanal, Centro Vinoteca, Mia Dona, and Rayuela.

Go to Gramercy Tavern for lunch! They are doing RW in the entire restaurant and accepting walk-ins in the Tavern Room as usual. They are also presenting each guest with a gift certificate for $24.07 for lunch between August 4 and Sept 26, for either the Tavern Room or the formal Dining Room.

We went to Mai House last night for RW in hopes of doing some "Top Chef" sightseeing. We wound up with one of the extra tables they put in right next to the windows facing into the kitchen and got to watch Lisa Fernandes do her thing for an hour. It was pretty fun. Food was excellent as well. I'm definitely going back on a non-RW night.
