We're only on day two of Summer Restaurant Week and the first report has already been filed. Dave Cook had lunch at Bar Boulud yesterday, and posted about it on his blog Eating in Translation. Arguments against RW go down the toilet looking at some of the offerings on their 3 course prix-fixe menu. If you are still looking for reservations, Bar Boulud says they are booked up for lunch, but they don't accept reservations for outside seating, or the bar, meaning that you should be able to get the $24.07 three course menu menu pretty easily as a walk-in.
