@ Southern_Bella - But so much cuter!

New York is missing street food???? What is he, nuts?

Gosh Tom, I thought you'd have a little more to say! very, um, succinct answers! Tough interview....

@mepm231

NYC is seriously missing street food...

@Carosone, I completely agree, but the resemblance is uncanny!

and in reply to Tom's answers... NY isn't missing street food, there was this one time when I was in NYC between classes and sitting on a window ledge on a nice day, I saw a pretzel cart and his wares spilled out onto the dirty streets, the vendor looked around, picked them all up, put them back on the cart and kept on moving... now THAT is street food.

haven't had one since. *blech*

Pretzels on the street aside, there is some pretty amazing street food in New York City... if you include the outer boroughs (like Jackson Heights) it may even be the best in the world, taking into account how many different cultures are present and accounted for in this city's street food scene.

@Cary, my thoughts exactly. A man of few words.

I like the Meet & Eat features. Keep 'em coming.

Sounds like Tom got up on the wrong side of the bed...or is he that bland.

You think NYC's missing street food, you should see Chicago. Thanks in part to Mayor Daley, we don't even have hot dog vendors on the streets anymore.

Maybe he meant that we have sreet foods from other places but very few native New York eats?

If so, a piddling distinction.
