Barney Greengrass to Charge 1908 Prices on Wednesday

Tomorrow Barney Greengrass on the Upper West Side will be celebrating their 100 year anniversary by selling food at their original opening day prices. According to Eater that will include $1.50 sturgeon and eggs during breakfast, or 50 cent borscht and $1.75 sturgeon sandwiches at lunch (a savings of $16). The 1908 prices only apply in the restaurant as part of a "special" (read: limited) 100 year anniversary menu. No matter, as long as we can get a sturgeon sandwich for under $2, we'll be there. 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 541 Amsterdam Ave. (at 86th Street), New York 10024; barneygreengrass.com
