This weekend a little slice of New Orleans comes to the Tri-State area in the form of Crawfish Fest 2008. What used to be a small crawfish boil among friends has grown to a three-day concert and food fest at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in New Jersey. It may not be as good as JazzFest, but it's as close as we're getting without having to buy a plane ticket to the Crescent City.

Check out crawfishfest.com for a list of bands, or skip directly to the important information: the food menu. Buses from Port Authority will take you there and back for $20.50, although if the whole thing seems like too much of an ordeal, there's always Plan B: sitting alone in your apartment drinking a six pack of Abita Strawberry. Either way, it'll be a fun weekend!
